Trek to Joy

Yet I Can Still Find Joy

My heart is sad, yet I can still find joy. My thoughts are negative, yet I can still find joy. The world is cruel, yet I can still find joy.  My being is positive, yet I can still find joy.  My soul is all knowing, yet I can still find joy.

Do I feel guilt? Do I feel shame? Do I feel happy? Do I feel love? This is what I have to ask myself at times.

Sadly we all have moments of happy and sad. But we all experience this since of guilt for finding humor during the serious and sad moments and finding joy in the negative. We shouldn’t, but we do.

There will always be positive in the negative and joy in the sadness. My heart breaks with the cruelty that exists in the world. Knowing that people are starving, being wrongfully imprisoned, dying because of preventable diseases, wars, etc., entire species are being wiped off the face of the planet, entire eco-systems are being exploited, money and greed seem to be dictating a lot of the suffering the world is experiencing.

Yet it seems impossible to make a difference, and yet it is possible. By opening up, talking and writing about the things that are happening, protesting, reporting, acknowledging, taking responsibility, making people and the world accountable we can make a difference.

Our thoughts do become our reality, so lets make them positive, loving and healing thoughts! Let us all send out loving, healing, positive and joyful thoughts, which will create new realities. Let us change this world into a world we can all be proud of!
